Hypophosphorous acid CAS 6303-21-5 is deliquescent crystals or colorless oil. Melting point: 26.5℃. The relative density (specific gravity): 1.439 (solid, 19℃).It is soluble in water, ethanol and ether, and it can be mixed in any proportion with water,ethanol,acetone. In the air, it easily deliquesce to syrupy liquid, and the aqueous solution is acidic.
