Sodium borohydride cyanide (molecular formula: NaBH3(CN)) is a derivative of sodium borohydride in which hydrogen is substituted by cyanide.
When storing sodium borohydride, avoid overheating and contact with fire, water, moist air, strong acid or strong oxidant.
When sodium borohydride encounters a strong acid, it will immediately produce hydrogen cyanide. Contact with moisture in the air will gradually decompose into cyanide.
