| In vivo | BPH-652 treatment (0.5 mg twice per day (days -1, 0, 1, and 2), i.p.) significantly reduces S. aureus bacterial counts in the kidneys of mice compared to the control group, with 8 of 13 below the detection threshold versus 2 of 14 in the control, indicating a 98% decrease in surviving bacteria in the treatment group. |
