Dioctyl sebacate NEW

Dioctyl sebacate (CH2)8(COOC8H17)2, or di(2-ethylhexyl) sebacate, is an organic compound which is the diester of sebacic acid and 2-ethylhexanol. It is an oily colorless liquid and is used as a plasticizer, most commonly in C4. It has also found use in Dot 5 brake fluid.

Usage

Mainly used in polyvinyl chloride copolymer, nitrate ester cellulose, ethyl fiber and synthetic rubber, especially suitable for the production of cold-resistant wire and cable materials, artificial leather, film, sheet, sheet and other products, often used with phthalate plasticizers, can also be used as a variety of synthetic rubber with low temperature plasticizer, no effect on rubber vulcanization, but also used as a jet engine lubricant.
