Product application: Dodecyl dimethyl tertiary amine (dodecyl tertiary amine, lauryl tertiary amine, DMA12) is the main raw material for producing cationic quaternary ammonium salts. It can react with benzyl chloride to produce benzyl quaternary ammonium salt 1227, and is widely used in the industries of fungicides and textile leveling agents;

Dodecyl dimethyl tertiary amine (dodecyl tertiary amine, lauryl tertiary amine, DMA12) can react with quaternary ammonium raw materials such as chloromethane, dimethyl sulfate, and diethyl sulfate to form cationic quaternary ammonium salts;

Dodecyl dimethyl tertiary amine (dodecyl tertiary amine, lauryl tertiary amine, DMA12) can also react with sodium chloroacetate to produce zwitterionic surfactant betaine BS-12;
