Product Introduction

L-glutamic acid is an amino acid with the formula C5H9NO4. The appearance is white crystalline powder, almost odorless, with special taste and sour taste. Decomposition at 224~225℃. A saturated aqueous solution has a PH of about 3.2. Insoluble in water, actually insoluble in ethanol and ether, highly soluble in formic acid.

Use

1. L-glutamic acid is mainly used in the production of monosodium glutamate, flavor, and as a salt substitute, nutritional supplement and biochemical reagent. L-glutamate itself can be used as a drug, participate in the metabolism of protein and sugar in the brain, promote the oxidation process, the product in the body and ammonia combined into non-toxic glutamide, so that blood ammonia decreased, reduce the symptoms of liver coma. It is mainly used to treat hepatic coma and severe hepatic insufficiency, but the effect is not very satisfactory. Combined with antiepileptic drugs, it can also treat minor epileptic seizures and psychomotor seizures. Racemic glutamate is used in the production of drugs, and is also used as a biochemical reagent.

2. It is usually not used alone, but used in conjunction with phenols and quinones antioxidants to obtain a good synergistic effect.

3. Glutamic acid is used as a complexing agent for electroless plating.

4. Used in pharmaceutical, food additives, nutrition fortifier;

5. It is used for biochemical research, and is medically used for hepatic coma, preventing epilepsy, alleviating ketonuria and ketonemia;

6. Salt substitute, nutritional supplement, umami agent (mainly used in meat, soup and poultry, etc.). It can also be used as a preventive agent for the crystallization of ammonium magnesium phosphate in canned shrimp, crabs and other aquatic products, with the dosage of 0.3% to 1.6%. According to the provisions of GB 2760-96 can be used as spices;

1. This product should be sealed and stored in a cool place away from light.
