Usage | 1. The leftomer of ofloxacin has about twice the antibacterial activity of ofloxacin. Its main mechanism of action is to inhibit the activity of bacterial DNA rotase (bacterial topoisomerase Ⅱ) and prevent bacterial DNA replication. 2. Wide antibacterial spectrum and strong antibacterial effect. It has strong antibacterial activity against most Enterobacteriaceae bacteria, such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Serratia, Proteus, Shigella, salmonella, Acinetobacter citrate, and Gram-negative bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Haemophilus influenzae and gonococcus. 3. It also has good antibacterial effect on some gram-positive bacteria such as methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, hemolytic streptococcus and Legionella, mycoplasma and chlamydia, but has poor antibacterial effect on anaerobic bacteria and enterococcus. |
