Organic silicon defoamer

Organosilicon defoamer is made of multifunctional silicone oil, polyvinyl alcohol, etc. by mechanical high pressure emulsification. The appearance is evenly dispersed milky white paste, oil content ≥ 30%, pH value 6~8, non-ionic. This product is soluble in water. Due to its large surface activity, it is not volatile, heat resistant, antioxidant, harmless to human body, and non-corrosive to metal. Stability ≥ 15min (3500r/min) without stratification.

Organosilicon defoamer has high defoaming rate, and has a good inhibiting effect on foam. It can be used in solutions with different pH values, and can also be used in different temperature ranges. It is widely used in defoaming or foam suppression of textile dyeing and finishing working fluids or color pastes. The dosage is generally 10-15mg/kg. This product can also be used as defoamer in papermaking, chemical medicine, monosodium glutamate, fermentation and other industries. Defoaming principle 1) Defoaming agent molecules that are easy to spread and absorb replace foaming agent molecules, forming a film with poor strength; 2) In the spreading process of Chemicalbook, the defoamer molecules take away part of the solution near the surface layer, making the foam liquid film thinner, reducing the stability of foam and easy to be damaged. The mechanism of action is that the ability of silicone to defoaming or inhibiting foam is due to its low surface tension. Organosilicon compounds (silicone oil) interfere with the surface tension of the gas-liquid interface, resulting in defoaming effect. When organic silicon is added to the foam medium, small particles of silicone oil fall on the surface of the foam, effectively reducing the surface tension at the contact point, causing a weak point on the outer surface of the foam, thus causing foam breaking.
