Scopoletin is a coumarin compound, which is a widely existing phenolic substance in solanaceae and widely distributed in plants. In solanaceae plant hyoscyamus Niger (ScopoliajaponicaMaxim) root, belladonna (HerbaAtropeaBelladonnas) and umbrelliferae plant anxing angelica dahurica (AngelicadahuricaFisch. ExHoffin.) Benth. EtHook. F. exFranch.etSav and other plants have higher content in the roots. Scopoletin can be extracted from Artemisia annua and other plants, which has important medicinal value and has various agricultural biological activities. It mainly includes insecticidal activity, acaricidal activity, antibacterial activity, regulating plant growth and development and inducing plant resistance.

Scopoletin regulates blood pressure, has antibacterial activity, is used to treat bronchial disorders and wheezing, regulates hormone balance, and can help reduce anxiety and depression. In addition, it has been reported that Dongmodamine has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antihypertensive and spasmolytic effects, especially in anti-tumor and prevention of hyperuricemia, which has attracted extensive attention at home and abroad.

Agricultural biological activity

① Insecticidal activity Scopoletin has good anti-insect properties against various pests such as homoptera, Coleoptera, lepidoptera, isoptera and diptera. Among them, there are more studies on Lepidoptera, homoptera and Coleoptera. Some studies have shown that after low temperature vernalization, the content of scopolide in wheat is significantly increased, showing good anti-insect activity.

②Acaricidal activity As for the acaricidal activity of Scopoletin, it has been reported in China for a long time. Zhang Yongqiang et al determined the biological activity of female adult acaricides cinnabaricides by using Artemisia annul acetone extract and showed that the corrected mortality of female adult acaricides cinnabaricides treated with 5.0mg·mL-1 within 48 hours was 100%. The extract also showed strong contact activity against Pantalonchus citri and PetrobiaAarri. Scopoletin also showed strong contact activity against Panpaws citrus and PetrobiaAarri, with LC50 of 0.0343 and 0.2766mg·mL-1, respectively, 48h after treatment. The LT50 of 2.0mg·mL-1 hydamolide against Pantalonchus citri and rock mite sorrel was 8.5h and 9.1h, respectively.

③ Antimicrobial activity Scopoletin had significant inhibitory effects on Efusiformis, F.semitectum and Alternariaalternata, with IC50 values of 0.8225, 0.4693 and 0.3054mg·mL-1, respectively.
