间皮素（MSLN）亦称CAK1抗原、前巨核细胞强化因子原，属于间皮素家族蛋白。该蛋白可通过弗林蛋白酶样转化酶发生蛋白水解裂解，形成两个活性片段：巨核细胞强化因子（MPF）和间皮素裂解形式。MPF与间皮素裂解形式均具有N-糖基化修饰特性。间皮素/MSLN能与MUC16发生相互作用，其膜锚定形式可能在细胞粘附过程中发挥作用，而MPF在体外实验中显示可增强巨核细胞集落形成能力。
