带有免疫球蛋白和ITIM结构域的T细胞免疫受体(TIGIT),亦称为含V集及免疫球蛋白结构域蛋白9(VSIG9)或含V集及跨膜结构域蛋白3(VSTM3),属于I型单次跨膜蛋白。其结构包含一个免疫球蛋白可变区、一个跨膜区以及一个免疫受体酪氨酸抑制基序(ITIM)。
TIGIT在外周记忆性CD4+ T细胞、调节性T细胞及NK细胞中呈低水平表达,并在这些细胞激活后(蛋白水平)表达上调。该蛋白能以高亲和力结合脊髓灰质炎病毒受体(PVR),此结合作用会促进IL10分泌增加、IL12B分泌减少,并通过诱导成熟免疫调节树突状细胞的生成来抑制T细胞活化。
