Trinbelimab is a recombinant human IgG1 lambda monoclonal antibody targeting Rh(D) antigen on red blood cells. As an anti-Rh(D) immunoglobulin, it binds to Rh(D)-positive fetal red blood cells that may enter maternal circulation during pregnancy or after delivery, facilitating their clearance by the maternal immune system to prevent sensitization. It is used for the prevention of hemolytic disease of the fetus and newborn (HDFN) in Rh(D)-negative pregnant women at risk of Rh incompatibility.
