Description
This Dienes Derivatization MaxSpec® Kit is designed for the sensitive, accurate detection and quantitation of diene-containing compounds such as Vitamin D or Vitamin D metabolites. This is achieved through chemical derivatization utilizing a Derivatization Reagent based upon click chemistry. Included in this kit is a simple, rapid, and efficient protocol to extract and derivatize diene compounds from biological matrices. The resulting mixture reduces ion suppression and increases sensitivity with detection limits of 10-100 pM in most sample matrices. This extraction protocol is based upon protein precipitation and solid phase extraction (SPE) using the Dienes Derivatization MaxSpec® Kit and Waters HLB cartridges. After drying under vacuum, the extracted and concentrated diene compounds are directly dissolved in Derivatization Solution.
