Two commercially available heterogeneous catalysts are used: 5% Pd/C and 10% Pd/C from 1,1,2,3,3-pentamethyl-octahydro-1H-indene(HHPMI), a 70% and 100% yield, respectively, of aromatic ingredients, such as Jiale Hongxiang (for example,Galaxolide HC, which is 1,1,2,3,3-pentamethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-indene, hereinafter "PMI"), as illustrated by the following formula:
