[1025] XXVI-1 (1.0 g, 6.67 mmol) and K2CO3 (1.38 g, 10 mmol) were added into in acetone (25 mL). And then EtI (1.14 g, 7.33 mmol) was added. The mixture was heated to reflux for 24 hrs. The mixture was cooled to rt and removed the solvent. Then the crude product was diluted with EA (100 mL), washed with water and brine, dried over Na2SO4, concentrated in vacuo to give XXVI-2 (870 mg, 73% yield), which was used directly without further purification.
