Sonogashira reactions
General procedure: In a typical run, a 4 mL vial equipped with a magnetic stirrer bar was charged with a mixture of aryl halide (1 mmol), alkyne (2 mmol), Pd catalyst (0.01 mmol), K3PO4 (2 mmol), and 2 mL of DMSO in air. The mixture was stirred at 100 °C for 1 h, then cooled to room temperature and brine was added into it. The resulting mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate three times, and the crude product was obtained by removing the volatiles. The product was purified by flash column chromatography on silica gel.
