26.26-2 Step 26-2. preparation of Nl-ethyl-3-fluorobenzene-l.2-diamine
to a 40 mL vial was placed N-ethyl-3-fluoro-2-nitroaniline (1.0 equiv, 2.71 mmol, 500 mg), propan-2-ol (10 mL), Fe (5.0 equiv, 13.57 mmol, 758.1 mg), NH40 (5.0 equiv, 13.57 mmol, 726.1 mg) and water (1.0 mL). The resulting solution was stirred at 80 °C for 30 min. The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature and filtered. The filtrate was concentrated and applied onto a silica gel column eluting with ethyl acetate/petroleum ether (1 :3) to afford 240 mg (57%) of the title compound as a grey oil. MS (M+H)+= 155.2
