50 mg of palladium/barium sulfate (Pd/BaSO4) and 0.80 g (4.2 mmol) of hexadeca-10-yn-1-ol (5) were slowly added to 20 ml of EA.Hydrogen was added under atmospheric pressure, reacted for 2 hours, filtered with a celite pad, and the organic layer was removed.Separated by column. The yield was 89% (0.71 g).
