N1-(5-chloropyridin-2-yl)ethane-1,2-diamine
5-chloro-2-fluoropyridine (325 μl, 2.04 mmol) was dissolved in 4 ml of ethane-1,2-diamine and stirred at 80° C. for 4 hr.
The ethane-1,2-diamine was then removed in vacuo to yield the title compound as a red-brown oil. ESI-MS (m/z): 172 [M+1]+.
