S1.6. General procedure for phenylacetohydrazides
General procedure: Step 2: A mixture of ester (1 equiv) and hydrazine hydrate (4 equiv) in ethanol wasrefluxed for 6 h. After the reaction was finished, the cooled mixture was concentratedin vacuo. The mixture was washed with petroleum ether. The pure crude productwas used without further purification.
