Reaction Conditions:

Steps:

2,4,6-trimorpholino-1,3,5-triazine (6m).

An icecooledsolution of cyanuric chloride (1.84 g,0.01 mol) in acetone (25 mL) was treated withmorpholine (2.61 g, 0.03 mol). The reaction temperaturewas gradually raised to 40 °C until the completedisappearance of the cyanuric chloride. The solventwas removed under reduced pressure and 30 mL waterwas added to the residue. The precipitate was filtered,washed with water (3 × 20 mL), and dried toafford compound 3.29 g 6m as a white solid, yield98%, 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 3.72 (24H, d,J = 5.1 Hz); IR (KBr): 3431, 1400, 1070, 805 cm-1;ESI-MS C15H24N6O3(m/z):336.2 (M+ H)+.
