2 g (9.9 mmol) of acridone was dissolved in 50 mL of dichloromethane, 4.1 g (30 mmol) of potassium carbonate was added, and a nitrogen atmosphereNext, slowly add 2.5mL bromine, the reaction was stirred at room temperature for 24h. After completion of the reaction slowly added saturated sodium sulfite solution 50mL remove unreacted bromine. After separation, the organic layer was dried and concentrated to give a pale yellow crude product.The crude product is recrystallized from methanol to give 2.85 g of a white solid in 81% yield.
