Steps:
1 Manufacture of structural formula 1-2A
2'-aminoacetophenone (9.6mL, 80mmol) and phenyl hydrazine (15g, 103.7mmol) in ethanol (100 mL) and 5 hours placed in glacial acetic acid (30 mL), and heated and stirred. After lowering the temperature to room temperature, washed with ethanol (30 mL) the generated solid was filtered, dried under vacuum to give the structural formula 1-2A (14g, 83% yield).
