Take 50mL of tetrahydrofuran and 0.5g of catalyst into the reactor and stir it evenly. Then take 1.48g of phthalic anhydride and 1.48g of pentylbenzene into the reactor one after another. After stirring evenly, heat and reflux at 30 for 8 hours. After cooling, filter, and the filtrate is recovered by distillation After cooling, the solvent and unreacted raw materials are recrystallized with ethanol. After filtration and drying, the product 2-pentylanthraquinone is obtained in 2.00g, with a yield of 72%.
