EXAMPLE 10 4-Fluoro-3-(5-methyl-benzooxazol-2-yl)-phenylamine To a solution of 2-fluoro-5-nitrobenzoic acid (1.0 g, 5.4 mmol) in tetrahydrofuran (20 ml) was added 10 drops of dimethylformamide followed by a 2M solution of oxalyl chloride in dichloromethane (3.2 ml). After stirring for 30 minutes, the mixture was consentrated under vacuum to give 2-fluoro-5-nitrobenzoyl chloride (100% yield).
