- Preparation of Compound Int-12d lnt-12c lnt-12dA suspension of LiAIH4 (16.2 g, 0.44 mol) and compound Int-12c (11.2 g, 54.8 mmol) in THF (200 mL) was allowed to stir under reflux for 8 hours. After successive addition of 17 mL of water, 17 mL of 10% aq NaOH, and 51 mL of water, and filtration, the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo to provide compound Int-12d (6.7 g, 94% yield).
