Steps:
3-(Azidosulfonyl)benzoic acid (2l):
To a solution of sulfonyl fluoride (0.5 mmol) in MeCN (1 mL) wasadded DMAP (79 mg, 0.65 mmol, 1.3 eq) followed by TMSN3 (50 μL, 0.375 mmol, 0.75 eq). Theresultant solution was stirred at room temperature for 15 min, then TMSN3 (50 μL, 0.375 mmol, 0.75eq) was added. After a further 15 min, TMSN3 (50 μL, 0.375 mmol, 0.75 eq) was added and thesolution stirred for 30 min, filtered through a silica plug, eluting with EtOAc (50 mL) and volatilesremoved under reduced pressure to yield an off-white solid (112 mg, 0.49 mmol, 99%)
