Intermediate 0 (76 mg, 0.22 mmol) and NH₄OH were heated to 80 °C for 6 h in a microwave. The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo and purified using silica gel chromatography with a hexane/EtOAc gradient to yield Intermediate P (76 mg, 66% yield). ?-NM (300 MHz, CDC1₃) δ 1.32 (s, 9H), 5.28 (br s, 2H), 7.06 (d, 1H, J= 5.1 Hz), 7.21 (d, lH, J= 5.1 Hz). MS (ESI) (M+H)⁺ 317.1.
