The 4 - hydroxy benzaldehyde (1.00 g, 8.2 mmol) dissolved in 15 ml DMF in, adding 3 - methoxy base animal pen bromine (1.80 g, 9.0 mmol), potassium carbonate (1.35 g, 9.8 mmol), 80 °C reaction 3 hours, adding 15 ml distilled water, extracted with ethyl acetate twice (2 × 20 ml), then saturated sodium chloride solution for washing 1 time, dried with anhydrous sodium sulfate. Concentrated, column chromatography, eluting agent is petroleum ether: ethyl acetate=5:1, shall be colorless oil of 1.58 g, yield 80.0%.
