Add compound (7), 4-acetyl-1-naphthoate methyl ester (17g, 74.5mmol) and toluene (170mL) into a 250mL round bottom flask,Stir to dissolve, add water (170mL), NaOH (5.9g, 149mmol), TBAB (4.8g, 14.9mmol),The temperature was raised to 65°C to react overnight, the reaction solution was cooled to room temperature, and the layers were separated, and the aqueous phase was washed with toluene (170 mL). While stirring the aqueous phase at room temperature, slowly add 4mol/L HCl (40mL) dropwise until the solid is completely precipitated, continue stirring for 1h, and filter with suction.After drying, 4-acetyl-1-naphthoic acid was obtained as an off-white solid: 14.5 g, yield 91.2%, purity 98.6%;
