Intermediate A74 4-Amino-2-phenylpyridazin-3 (2H)-one
A colorless, heterogeneous solution of 4,5-dichloro-2-phenylpyridazin-3 (2H)-one (0.2504 g, 1.039 mmol) and hydrazine, H20 (0.505 ml, 10.39 mmol) in Ethanol (3.0 ml)microwaved at 85 °C for 20 mm. This was combined with two other reactions ofcomparable scale, concentrated in vacuo to give a residue which was purified by flash chromatography using an ISCO 80g column (solid loading) eluting with 0-20% MeOHICH2C12. Appropriate fractions were collected and concentrated in vacuo to give 4-amino-2-phenylpyridazin-3(2H)-one as an orange foam (0.305 1 g, 53.0% yield).
