52 Preparation of 6-(o-fluorophenyl)-1,2,4- triazolo-[4,3-b]pyridazine
The preceding compound is heated with bromine in acetic acid to give 6-(o-fluorophenyl)-3(2H)pyridazinone as crystals (from CH2 Cl2 -hexane), m.p. 173°-175° C. A mixture of the preceding compoound and phosphorus oxychloride is refluxed on a steam bath to give 3-chloro-6-(o-fluorophenyl)pyridazine as crystals, m.p. 95°-96° C.
