1.0 g of 2-chloro-1-(4-chloroacetoxylphenyl)-ethanone [formula shown in Example 1, this is an example of Formula III] was dissolved in 10 mL methanol, 20 mL of 40% methylamine aqueous was added drop by drop in 10 mins, the reaction solution was stirred at room temperature 4 hours, then excessive methylamine was recycled, solid residue was recrystallized from ethanol-HCl aqueous to obtain crystal 0.47 g, mp 141 C. (dec.), yield 71%.
