N-trifluoroacetyl-7-fluoro-6-nitro-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline (660mg, 2.3mmol) and methanol (10mL) were added to a 25ml reaction flask, and hydrochloric acid (2M, 6mL) was added under the protection of nitrogen.
The reaction solution was heated to reflux and reacted overnight, and then concentrated.
The residue was ground in diethyl ether, and the solid was collected by filtration to obtain the title compound (450mg).
The crude product was used directly for the subsequent reaction. (MS: [M+1] 197.1)
