9 Example 9: Synthesis of 6,6-dimethyl-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane
To a solution of 3-benzyl-6,6-dimethyl-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane (25.00 g) in methanol (250 mL) was added palladium on carbon (5%, 2.5 g) at room temperature , the reaction was stirred at room temperature for 6 h, the palladium carbon was removed by filtration, and the methanol was removed by concentration to obtain 6,6-dimethyl-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane (13.39 g, 97%).
