Compound pentafluorobenzene (1 mmol, 168.1 mg)Perfluoroiodobutane (1.1 mmol, 380.5 mg) was placed in a 10 mL round-bottomed flask that was coated with tin foil.Added 5 mL of N,N-dimethylformamide and sodium tert-butoxide (0.5 mmol, 48.1 mg).Stir at room temperature for 10 minutes,TLC monitored the endpoint of the reaction.The mixture was poured into water and extracted with dichloromethane. The organic phase was collected and dried. The dichloromethane was removed by rotary evaporation at low temperature to obtain a crude product.The crude product was passed through silica gel column chromatography and petroleum ether as eluent.Pentafluoroiodobenzene (colorless liquid, 291 mg, yield 99%) was obtained.
