EXAMPLE 23Preparation of Compound 3131Step A - Preparation ofInt-23alnt-23aTo a at 0°C solution of 3-methoxyphenylacetic acid (2 g, 12.05 mmol) in DCM (20 mL) was added BOP reagent (5.331 g, 12.05 mmol), DIPEA (3.133 g, 24.1 mmol) and N,0- dimethylhydroxylamine (1.181 g, 12.05 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature before the solution was washed with IN HCl and brine, dried over Na2S04, filtered and concentrated. The crude product was purified by chromatography with silica gel (petroleum ether / EtOAc = 5 : 1) to give compound Int-23a as a colorless oil (1.60 g). MS (ESI) m / e (M+H+): 210.0
