Steps:

In an ice bath, compound N,N-dimethyl p-toluenesulfonamide b5-2 (5 mmol, 1 g) was dissolved in 12 mL of concentrated sulfuric acid, NBS (5.5 mmol, 983 mg) was added, the temperature was slowly raised to room temperature, and stirred for 3 hours.
