Step 3 (S)-1-Methyl-2-morpholin-4-yl-ethylamine To a solution of (1-methyl-2-morpholin-4-yl-ethyl)-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (0.30 g, 1.22 mmol) in methanol (10 mL) was added 2N HCl (5 mL) at 0° C. The reaction mixture was allowed to warm to room temperature and was stirred overnight. The solvent was removed under vacuum to give (S)-1-Methyl-2-morpholin-4-yl-ethylamine as a light yellow solid (250 mg, 96%). MS (M+H)=145.
