Description	t-Boc-N-Amido-PEG5-amine is a Boc protected PEG linker containing an free amino group and5 PEG units. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The amino group is reactive with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters. The Boc group can be deprotected under mild acidic conditions to free the amine.
Uses	As a polyethyleneglycol (PEG) derivative, O-(2-AMinoethyl)-O'-[2-(Boc-aMino)ethyl]tetraethylene Glycol can be used in the preparation of novel biochip technology for detection of explosives-TNT. It is also used as a reagent in the synthesis of chemical inducer of dimeriza tions (CID) to identify the protein target of inhibitors of Toxoplasma gondii invasion.
