Diuron

Diuron, imazuron and ligulong are three commonly used substituted urea herbicides. Diuron is a systemic herbicide with a certain contact killing activity, which can be absorbed by the roots and leaves of plants, and can be absorbed by the root system. The absorption is the main chemicalbook. After the weed root system absorbs the drug, it spreads to the leaves on the ground, and spreads along the leaf veins to the surrounding, inhibiting the Hill reaction of photosynthesis, causing the leaves to lose green, and the tips and margins of the leaves to fade, and then turn yellow and die. Diuron is a substituted urea herbicide used to control a wide variety of annual and perennial broadleaf and grassy weeds, as well as mosses. 

Application:

Herbicide. The product is used to control non farming area general weeds, weeds to spread. The product is also used for asparagus, citrus, cotton, sugarcane, pineapple, temperate trees and shrubs fruit weeding.

Also used widely antifoulant for marine paint.

Precautions

1.Poisonous soil method

Diuron has a killing effect on wheat seedlings and is prohibited in wheat fields. In tea, mulberry and orchards, the poisonous soil method should be used to avoid phytotoxicity.

2. Apply to the soil surface

It has a strong contact killing effect on cotton leaves. The application must be applied to the soil surface. Diuron should not be used after the cotton seedlings are unearthed.

3. According to soil properties

Sandy soil, the dosage should be appropriately reduced than that of clay soil. Sandy leaky paddy fields should not be used.

4. Avoid drifting onto the blades

Diuron has a strong lethality to the leaves of fruit trees and various crops, and the liquid medicine should be avoided from drifting to the leaves of crops. Peach trees are sensitive to diuron and should be used with caution.

5. Repeated cleaning with clean water

Diuron-sprayed instruments must be washed repeatedly with clean water.
