In order to 1,3-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)propan-1,3-dione, tert-butyl peroxybenzoate as a raw material, the reaction steps are as follows:Added in the reaction bottle 1,3-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)propan-1,3-dione (0.28g, 1mmol), tert-butyl peroxybenzoate (0.45g, 3mmol), CuBr₂ (0.022g, 0 . 1mmol) and 2 ml ethanol, 80 °C reaction;TLC until the complete end tracking of the reaction;After the reaction the crude product by column chromatography (petroleum ether: ethyl acetate = 40:1), to obtain the target product (yield 80%).
