3-Deoxysappanchalcone is a naturally-occurring chalcone compound isolated from Caesalpinia sappan L. (Leguminosae), which possesses anti-allergic, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. 3-Deoxysappanchalcone exerts anti-inflammatory activity via induce heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) expression by activating the AKT/mTOR pathway in murine macrophages. 3-Deoxysappanchalcone also exhibits anti-influenza virus activity (H3N2, IC50 = 1.06 μM)[1][2]. | [Definition]
ChEBI: 2'-O-methylisoliquiritigenin is a member of the class of chalcones that is isoliquiritigenin in which one of the hydroxy groups at position 2' is replaced by a methoxy group. It has a role as a metabolite. It is a member of chalcones, a monomethoxybenzene and a member of phenols. It is functionally related to an isoliquiritigenin. | [storage]
