General procedure for the synthesis of 7-bromo-3,4-dihydroquinazolin-4-one from 2-amino-4-bromobenzoic acid and compound (CAS: 77287-34-4): 0.0 g (1.56 mol) of 2-amino-4-bromobenzoic acid was suspended in 970 mL of formamide, followed by stirring of the reaction for 12 hours at 170°C. Upon completion of the reaction, a conventional post-processing was carried out to give 326.0 g of 7-bromo-3H-quinazolin-4-one; which was analyzed by HPLC/MS as a solid product with (M + H)+ = 226. | [References]
