KRP 927 is a thiazolidinedione dual agonist of PPARα and PPARγ (EC50s = 149 and 83 nM, respectively, in transactivation assays).1 It decreases hyperglycemia and hyperinsulinemia in ob/ob mice in a dose-dependent manner.
