The preparation method of triisooctylamine is as follows: After nitrogen and hydrogen replacement, two octylamines are reduced with a catalyst at 180-230℃. Isooctanol is then added and hydrogen is circulated. After heating and reaction, almost no water is removed, yielding crude triisooctylamine. This crude product is then obtained through re-distillation, with a purity exceeding 98 wt.%. A small amount of unreacted isooctanol can be recycled. The operation is simple, and no corrosive or irritating products are generated during production, thus avoiding corrosion of production equipment and environmental pollution. This invention uses a catalyst with higher activity, selectivity, and stability, simplifies post-processing, and allows for catalyst reuse, making it easy to industrialize. |
