Glutor is a selective GLUT 1/2/3 inhibitor that can suppress glucose uptake. Glutor can inhibit glycolysis and has anti-tumor activity, inducing cell apoptosis[1][2]. | [Biological Activity]
Glutor is a potent inhibitor of glucose uptake th at targets glucose transporters GLUT1-2and -3. Inhibition of glucose uptake by glutor leads to upregulation of GLUT3 and GLUT1 expression. Glutor potently and selectively suppresses growth of a variety of cancer cell lines. Glutor and glutaminase inhibitor CB-839 synergistically inhibit tumor cell growth. | [References]
