L-Methionine sulfoxide (0.56%-1.66% dietary supplementation; p.o., dietary intake; daily ad libitum; 2 weeks) is approximately 60% efficient in utilizing methionine for growth in weanling rats and was not able to fully meet the dietary methionine requirement of rats[2].
