No publicly reported methods for synthesizing 2-chloro-5-fluorophenol have been found. This paper uses p-fluoroaniline as a starting material and introduces hydroxyl groups via bromination, diazotization chlorination, and Grignard reaction to synthesize 2-chloro-5-fluorophenol.
