DISPERSE YELLOW 49 is suitable for dyeing polyester using the medium-temperature (195-200℃) hot melt method and the 100℃ carrier method. It produces a bright and delicate color with good colorfastness, especially excellent lightfastness. However, it is not suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure methods. It produces a bright yellow with a greenish tint when dyeing diacetate and triacetate fibers, and a pale yellow when dyeing nylon, acrylic, and polypropylene fibers. It can be used for direct printing on polyester, nylon, and acetate fiber fabrics. When dyeing polyester-cotton blends, it does not stain cotton. When dyeing diacetate/viscose blends, it can be used in the same bath as direct dyes. Furthermore, CI disperse yellow dyes can also be used to formulate dyeing and printing paste compositions (composed of dyeing and printing concentrate, thickener, pH adjuster, and water). | [Properties and Applications]
